I LOVE adopting seniors!!!...people are thinking about themselves instead of the dogs, when they say.."But I won't have him very long"... it's not about you... it's about giving a very grateful loving dog a home and love until they pass...I adopted one that was on death's door at 4 years old, because of severe overbreeding and physical abuse....she was a mess. I did all I could for her and loved her SO much in the short 3 months he lasted...and I would do it again. WuTang clan sweatshirt. I know this is going to sound super critical, however, I can't help but wonder if the staff were so concerned, why didn't one of them adopt Pirate at any point in those 7 years? I know it takes amazing people to work in shelters. But that was a thought I couldn't help but keep thinking of watching this. Thankfully there was a happy ending and bless this family. WuTang clan sweatshirt. Adopting a senior was the BEST decision ever! Tony is nearly 17 yrs old and as happy as a clam. Poor guy was abandoned in a house with a bunch of cats and left unwanted. He has such a sweet soul and has almost aged backward A perfect addition to our home


I adopted "Cin" (profile pic) last February when he was 12+. His 13th birthday is coming up Nov. 30th. He's had to overcome some health issues this year, but overall he's been the easiest dog to live with that I've ever had. Senior Dogs rock! Just a little slower. I want to help a dog like this one day when we have more space. Her name is Pirate as well. Thank you both for your services, and for taking this sweet baby home. Made me cry! So glad she got the love she deserved! You are special people, we need more of you!

If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed. I think that if you get it done by a vet with experience and with a passion for these animals, they’ll do it in a way that hurts them the least in terms of long-term health.  A friend told me the story of someone they knew who had to make a decision whether or not to declaw their cat or give them antibiotics for the rest of their cat's life because it had some kind of

Engineer Samurai Shirt One day before I dropped off my cat at my friend's place for a trip, I stopped at a pet store to get cat nail tip covers for my cat. Engineer Samurai Shirt . The store clerk said I should consider declawing as she did on her cat. I said no it's very cruel and damaging operation on cats. Her response was "oh I found a very good vet to do it for mine". Amputation is amputation no matter how expensive your vets charge you.  Andrea McHugh well it's still legal in many parts of North America. I didn't report it and I certainly should have done more to let her know why it's so inappropriate. That day I was just shocked and left without confronting her further.  Cats have claws and they will scratch if you can't handle that they don't get a cat.
