What a lovely story of a lovely family, I have a rescue and she's the most loving dog I ever had, I will always have rescues just don't get it that you would spend so much on a particular breed when there are thousands of dogs and cats that are desperate for a home and even worse than they are having to put healthy animals to sleep. Wow, what a beautiful story and family. Everyone should be like this. I’ve rescued dogs that people got “rid” of (I hate that word.. sounds like their trash) because someone had a baby and didn’t want/tryst the dog anymore. These folks are a shining example of what love and compassion are about and they are teaching their children and other people around them how to live that way...Bravo! What an open-hearted people, parents to children and animals alike. It makes me think that when I get my house, a home, a real home. I want to be involved just like this with the animals.

If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed.
