This is how you rescue an animal. I feel like my local aquarium could do a little better. It's a BIG job! But there's so much scrimpy because it's a "business". It's not something I feel proud of. I feel bad for their sea otters. They sign at you to be let out and open the gate. Grinch I Used To Smile And Then I Worked At Claire's Shirt. That is one adorable beaver. Didn’t know you could domesticate them. He would love some sort of a log or something and maybe he would stop chewing o. Your house. Loved the video. He is really so cute. JB will not be returned to the "wild" as he is an educational ambassador, teaching people about the importance of wildlife and how to live humanely with them. He will have an awesome forever and safe home. Our education programs are top notch. Our release rate is higher than a lot of rehabbers. We release hundreds each year. Grinch I Used To Smile And Then I Worked At Claire's Shirt. So, haters that feel the need to condemn JB's lack of "wildness", he won't need it. And his job is important as an educational ambassador. But if it makes you feel better as a person to type smack on here, I hope it helps. We know that we do an awesome job. BTW, please read up on single beavers' survival rates being released.

JB is having his pond built by a large national company on October 8. It should only take 2-3 days for the pond itself. He'll have an awesome natural wetland filter and even a little waterfall. The pond will be large in size. We are very excited to get this underway! I am sure we will have to transition JB to this new environment at a slow pace for him not to stress. Human being: *cares for loves and takes care of a wild animal in a unique circumstance to give it its best possible life rather than being eaten by a coyote alone as a young one*
