Clearly, that is not the case now. I get most people are seeing a cute critter roaming the house and getting her to take on his 'instincts'. And I don't think she's being 'bad' intentionally or even at all. I think he needed round the clock care as an infant, and she bonded with him. Now she's fallen in love and doesn't want to let go. So, she's coming up with why he can't leave yet. He should be outside 24/7 in my experience. He would be learning to be a beaver now, instead of being a pet that goes outside now and then. JB should be finding his own sticks, his own treats, etc.
