Camping You Say? Alpaca My Bag Shirt
I’m shocked that people consider this ok whether it’s taking a bone or not. When you choose to invite a pet into your life you have to accept it’s basically a wild animal that’s been domesticated and will have traits. I can’t believe that this is a common practice. Camping You Say? Alpaca My Bag Shirt. I had never owned cats and growing up we always had dogs. When my daughter wanted a cat, being an animal lover I thought, why not? He scratched everything!! And a fellow cat owner suggested declawing him. Worst mistake ever! I didn’t do my research and took their word for it. It took him forever to heal and my poor baby was miserable for months. He is a happy cat now, and we’ve had another cat that wasn’t declawed and it was fairly easy to train her not to scratch. I can understand if it’s a last resort so they don’t end up in the pound but I would never recommend it. Camping You Say? Alpaca My Bag Shirt. I have never and would never declaw my cats. I have 3 human kids who did far more damage to couches and beds when babies than any kitten/cat I've ever had. I had no idea that their nails grew from the bone though. Idk how I missed that memo. How sad and looks so painful.
Not causing anything just going to put my story up as an example. My kitten was trying to hold my face so he can clean it. He loves doing that. One of my older kittens jumped onto the couch, getting in the way which resulted in my baby kitten scratching my eye, meanwhile, me holding my phone outward because I was on a video call. My eyelid bled and I was literally seconds away from losing my eye. My eyebrow, under my eye, leading down to my cheek was scratched but the nail hooked my eyelid. It was bruised and ugly for a while. Did I declaw or punish or beat my little baby kitten? No. He was trying to hold mommy's face so he can clean it and an older one was trying to get into bed. My cats have cut my thighs up my arms really badly. My body, in general, has scratches. But after jolting or saying oww a million times they gracefully jump onto our laps.
