My mother in law has a declawed cat, the vet did it for free because she had small children, he is doing just fine, and get this he is indoor and outdoor. I don’t have either of my cats declawed because I just don’t believe in it, my oldest cat who is a female I fought for her because no one wanted to come over if she had claws. I basically told them it was not going to happen, didn’t care, she is the sweetest thing and I don’t buy new furniture so if she scratches it, oh well I’m not out thousands of dollars for it.
