Rebecca Killinger Sadly Brad has protective issues. He has been returned twice. It is best he goes to a single individual who has no children or spouse. I still visit Brad from time to time, especially on the holidays. I have adopted 6 of my own, and I work, so volunteering during the weekdays is getting a bit harder. Brad is dearly loved at Oahu SPCA. We need more ppl like u in this world. I also rescued an older smaller dog from euthanasia about 4 yrs ago. Brad needs a home. Maybe someone will adopt Brad after seeing this. I remember her! I have 3 dogs & couldn't adopt her so I tried so hard to convince my sister & brother in law to adopt her but they ended up getting stationed elsewhere. I cried happy tears when I found out she was adopted!


When my collie died, I went to the shelter and asked to meet the dog no one seemed to want. They brought out a 9 yr old pit bull. Now my Chopper is happy in his forever home and I love him with all my heart. Older dogs are such a special treat to love. I promise you I'm going to adopt a senior dog once my two old dogs pass (if they ever pass, I'm planning on them living forever) but after them, I'm saving these guys. I'm not even a dog person but this made me cry (and I don't cry easily). All animals deserve a family and love. It doesn't matter how old or sick they are.

If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed. I think that if you get it done by a vet with experience and with a passion for these animals, they’ll do it in a way that hurts them the least in terms of long-term health.  A friend told me the story of someone they knew who had to make a decision whether or not to declaw their cat or give them antibiotics for the rest of their cat's life because it had some kind of
