Diane Bailey, it's stupid because kids cry. They were sad. They didn't throw spoiled tantrums demanding it now! They were just upset. They're in car seats for Christ's sake. The parents didn't go back in and get it to shut up spoiled kids. It's Nice To Be Stroked But I'd Rather Be Blown Shirt. Your comment is arrogant because you come across like you were the perfect model emotionless child since diapers and ignorant for insinuating these kids are spoiled brats because they were sad. If you acted like what? All they did was cry because they were sad. They didn't scream or throw tantrums. Their parents built their hopes up and let them down, and they cried in their car seats, which was far more reasonable than many kids I see their age. What are you talking about? You weren't allowed to shed tears growing up? thank you for your insight Mommie dearest, we all need to remember that this is still the 1950s and children are to be seen and not heard, and gods forbid they show any semblance of emotion! they need to be perfect little robots!  It's Nice To Be Stroked But I'd Rather Be Blown Shirt. never mind that these kids weren't being bratty in the first place, they were sad and disappointed and we need to teach our children that it's okay to feel things otherwise we get a bunch of emotionally stunted adults who don't know how to form healthy interpersonal relationships. 


It's cruel to videotape your children sobbing and allowing them to continue being hurt and upset instead of telling them the truth. a dog is not a toy, it's a living creature, and these kids can clearly tell the difference. you don't take your kids to an animal shelter only to say no when you get there. this comment would be fair if they were this upset about an object, but when you tell a child, "we're going to get a dog today", and suddenly tell them no just to play a sick joke. This video is actually reprehensible, but not for the reasons you stated.
