We totally love her! there is one thing most people don't understand about dogs. we are giants compared to them. if a giant approached you how would you react? if at all possible bring yourself down to their level so you don't look so huge! my dogs often look afraid of my sons, when I tell my sons to get on the floor the dogs jump all over them because they aren't giants anymore!


I am thankful there people out there who have compassion and patience with critters in general. Just like people suffer from PTSD from mental injuries and abuse, so do animals. All we have to do is listen and observe what they try to tell us. Oh my goodness, that dear dog, so scared and then so happy, to go and choose his toy, that brings tears to your eyes. The store clerk said I should consider declawing as she did on her cat. I said no it's very cruel and damaging operation on cats. Her response was "oh I found a very good vet to do it for mine". Amputation is amputation no matter how expensive your vets charge you.  Andrea McHugh well it's still legal in many parts of North America. I didn't report it and I certainly should have done more to let her know why it's so inappropriate. That day I was just shocked and left without confronting her further.  Cats have claws and they will scratch if you can't handle that they don't get a cat.
