I swear here in Europe (or at least in my country) we don't even know wtf declawing is. If you bring your cat to the vet asking for it they will probably press charges on you for cruelty and take away your cat from your dangerous ass.. this is what being detached from reality means for sure. For my forever friend, he was scratching my wife and my son to the point of neither of them enjoying him. I put up with the cuts in an attempt to bond, but he was a playful cat with scratch habits. Our puppy ruined the carpet at the house as we aimed to potty train him. He eventually learned and we had the carpet replaced.
