I adopted my baby girl Sadie. Vets wanted to put her down at 3 mths. 2 shattered legs which needed metal plates to hold the bones together and over 300 stitches throughout her body...I didn't care about vet bills. After a yr 4 vets said she probably wouldn't live passed 6yrs old because of damage of being a bait pup for fighting pits. Today she is 10! Sadie is still doing wonderful a little stiff after she plays (I let her live her life with lots of love) but I massage her and she's fine. She has been my service dog for my Epilepsy for 7 yrs now. I love her to death! These dogs need chances to show they're full of love and not hate!

If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed. I think that if you get it done by a vet with experience and with a passion for these animals, they’ll do it in a way that hurts them the least in terms of long-term health.  A friend told me the story of someone they knew who had to make a decision whether or not to declaw their cat or give them antibiotics for the rest of their cat's life because it had some kind of
