We did rescue him. He cannot be released. He can go to our center due to the constant need for monitoring and health issues. We are almost 100% volunteer and our tight budget is for animal care, not overhead or frivolous things. It goes towards formula, food, medicines, vet visits. Rehabbing is NOT a cheap endeavor. We appreciate every single donation but never expect it. The DoDo making mention of supporting us is because they see us working hard and saving hundreds of lives each year. Thank you for chiming in. Brigette Brouillard, Arnie is the cutest little fellow, it is amazing work you and all wildlife carers do, we have a lot of great people here in Australia that do the same work, thanks to you all and hi from Australia. Brigette Brouillard some people are not even worthy of a response. Keep Doing What you are doing! Some people just have the need to be rude and create drama. He looks extremely happy whether you rescued him or he is your pet or whatever the case may be. If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed.
