I had a cat named Aslan who was 15 and had hyperthyroidism. We brought home a kitten and named him Prince. Aslan immediately took him under his paw and raised him to be the sweet loving cat he was. Aslan died in 2013, but Prince lives on and it's like having Aslan 2.0, but more talkative! I have a feral female I got in 2003. Never wanted to help young kitten I got years later..I thought I was making her happy, nope.. she bonded with the female dog who passed away in 2012.. that was her friend and bed buddy..so sad, she won't trust anyone else, except me. Fwo Foo World Order Shirt. I had a feral cat that would have nothing to do with us. Only wanted food and a place to nod off...could not go near him for fear of being mauled. UNTIL, he came crawling home on his belly, sick as a dog, and had to be rushed to the vet.. well, needless to say, he became a total lovebug when he was better. Could not get enough cuddles. He would shadow me as if I was going to leave and just wanted to be in Someone slap. I want a cat!! Oh wait I do I have two Cats One I saved from under my house and the other was saved from a bad house who the owner didn't take care of her.. Shes a kitten and he's a very mean older cat so I say I love both my cats.

The love of a once feral kitty is something wonderful to experience. I met a feral cat when she was pregnant and I named her Mama Kity. She would only come into my yard to eat along with some other homeless cats. After a while, I started to call her to come to get her food and she would run into the yard with her tummy swaying from side to side. She now knew her name. She had her kittens and later I got her to come on a screened porch (as long as I left the screen door propped open. Later I was able to teach her to use the cat door to come and go. She would start to bring me many precious gifts ( who were dead) most of the time. Much later on a cold nite in Ga, I was able to coax her into a warm house one nite and the rest is history. She is an amazing girl today

If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed. I think that if you get it done by a vet with experience and with a passion for these animals, they’ll do it in a way that hurts them the least in terms of long-term health.  A friend told me the story of someone they knew who had to make a decision whether or not to declaw their cat or give them antibiotics for the rest of their cat's life because it had some kind of

Engineer Samurai Shirt One day before I dropped off my cat at my friend's place for a trip, I stopped at a pet store to get cat nail tip covers for my cat. Engineer Samurai Shirt . The store clerk said I should consider declawing as she did on her cat. I said no it's very cruel and damaging operation on cats. Her response was "oh I found a very good vet to do it for mine". Amputation is amputation no matter how expensive your vets charge you.  Andrea McHugh well it's still legal in many parts of North America. I didn't report it and I certainly should have done more to let her know why it's so inappropriate. That day I was just shocked and left without confronting her further.  Cats have claws and they will scratch if you can't handle that they don't get a cat.
