Well done for all the hard work and caring. You can now see a happy dog with lovely bright eyes. A happy ending. What a beautiful story for Obie now. In the beginning, it was sad to see him overweight and unable to move around the house or the yard. Obie was very fortunate to have his new owner to have him be a part of her family to love him and to try to lose some of his weight which he did. Since he lost all the weight he can now move around without any problem. When I was a little kid my stupid uncle had a dachshund and he fed her caramels. He thought it was funny to watch her chew them. She looked like this dog and I thought that's the just way those dogs looked. I couldn't watch this, it made me so sad!!! I'm glad someone saved him. He looks just like my Mia. She was gaining weight after she sterilization, 47lbs., she ‘s very active I feed her once a day but still gains weight, I found this dish that forces slows down her eating and she is slowly losing a couple of Ibs. That is such a wonderful story! Thank you for saving this pup. I have recently provided a raw diet for my neighbor's overweight dachshund, Buddy, and walking him daily for an hour or so and he is losing weight too. Much happier now and healthier.
