If they need to climb up trees they can, but then again, I’ve never seen a cat in constant pain because of Being de-clawed. Devin completely unexplainable shirt I have had several cats, all declawed. They were indoor/outdoor cats.  Devin completely unexplainable shirt . They were also “fixed”. None of them had any trouble climbing a tree, jumping, fighting, or catching small creatures. They died of cancer, liver failure, the usual stuff. For many cats, having claws = being homeless. My cats lived comfortable lives. None of them had behavioral problems either.  Cats climbing are a natural part of their lives. The fact you're willing to take that away from them is disgusting behavior. They would have had little stimulation in your house and I feel sorry for them. Especially considering they can't even go outside. How would you like to be trapped indoors all day without even the use of your nails to scratch yourself or play with toys?  Devin completely unexplainable shirt .  I would rather buy new furniture than to declaw my cats. But I don't have to do that, my leather furniture survive...
